Of course even the Salads have that fine dining touch, with perfectly chopped organic vegetables and a light dressing.

If you are a Filet lover then you have to try the Ambassador Hotel Jerusalem Al Diwan Restaurant, as it is one of the best tasting I have had in Jerusalem. The peppercorn sauce is amazing and those fresh chips, Two Thumbs Up!

Everyone knows I love Lamb Chops and Chef Ashayer always puts his touch on this classic dish! Chef is still keeping it a secret, but when I find out the WORLD will know!

Yes that good, I snuck back in the next night just to have more! If there is one item you should order it’s the Lamb Chops!

 And with all the choices, you better save room for dessert, as all are made fresh daily by Chef and his staff!

Once your in the Old City of Jerusalem, the fun begins. The People, the Sounds and the Smells will get all your senses working overtime! Pick a street and walk, explore and have the time of your life!

The Smell of a fresh Jerusalem Bagel is the BEST Smell EVER! A must to snack on while walking the Old City! (make sure you get some Za’atar to dip it in)

Don’t forget your FRESH SQUEEZED Pomegranate Juice. Super Good and of course a Healthy Drink to keep your energy up!

The Christian Quarter is the first part of the Old City that most visitors in Jerusalem see, as it lies just beyond the Jaffa Gate.

Tee Shirts, Novelties and Souvenirs on every corner. Some funny and even your favorite Sports teams in Hebrew or Arabic.

Anything you can imagine, you can probably find in the Old City. From Jewelry, Antiques and Middle East Treasures makes this a fun day shopping!

Open air market with an assortment of candies…what could be better!

My favorite spot to stop on every trip I make to Jerusalem’s Old City is the spice market. Looking for some Zaatar, Sumak, Falafel Seasoning, this is the place to buy it. Fresh and transports really well on the way home.

It’s amazing the amount of fun one can have in a SPICE MARKET…Yep it could be a Chef Thing!

With a distance of only 15 miles from Jerusalem, Jericho is a must stop on your trip to Israel.

Jericho, the “City of Palms,” is said to be the oldest city in the world.

…and the city with the oldest known protective wall in the world. In the Bible the Israelites destroyed the Bronze Age wall of Jericho by walking around it with the Ark of the Covenant for seven days.

If you are a true foodie like me you love FRESH anything that is prepared with local organic ingredients, and you can’t get any better than in Jericho.

You will have Hummus, Tahini and various other dips for your bread and veggies. The added peppers to this dish was GENIUS!

Most places I like to save room for dessert, but not at the Mount of Temptation Restaurant the food is WAY TO GOOD! But who can turn down a fresh, hot piece of Kanafeh!
